Meet the Indoor Staff
At E D White Indoor Percussion, we value hard work and dedication. Our staff provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to give our students the best opportunities to improve and succeed. Our goal is to help each individual become their best self through the art of percussion. Our team is passionate about percussion and we want to share that passion with our students, whether they're just starting out or are experienced musicians.

Director
Keith Ledet
Keith Ledet has been teaching percussion in Thibodaux, Louisiana with the E. D. White band program since 1982. He was a member of the 1984 Bridgemen and 1985 Star of Indiana.
Keith graduated from Nicholls State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and worked as a graphic designer for Neff/Buckner Rental from 1989-1999. From 2000 -2007, he worked as an independent graphic designer. In 2008, he was able to begin teaching percussion full time. He is able to experience the joy of spending the first portion of his day in the Lafourche parish schools of 6 Ward Middle and Chackbay Elementary and the latter half of his day at E. D. White Catholic High School.
Keith is currently the director of the E. D. White indoor percussion program, wielding this title since its inception in 2001.
Keith enjoys working with students at all grade levels, expounding on their growth to become productive members of society. Some have even been encouraged to become music teachers and professional performers. He is always excited to witness the multiple talents of the Indoor percussion, marching band, DCI and color guard circuits, appreciating the work that the staffs and kids put into these activities. Keith lives in Thibodaux Louisiana with his very energetic wife, Debbie, Dog Benny and Cat Cardinal.

Matthew Ledet
Our program is proud to have Matthew class of 2021 as one of our instructors. Matthew is a Cardinal Music Alumni who is now a full-time college student studying Architecture. He is our Front Ensemble instructor and his passion for music and teaching helps bring our program to life. Our students benefit from Matthew’s experience and expertise, and we are lucky to have him.

Nick Kearns
Nick is a well-rounded individual with a diverse background. He is a Cardinal Music Alumni and a graduate of Louisiana State University where he majored Mathematics and Philosophy. Nick was also a member of the LSU Drumline. In addition to his academic achievements, Nick is an avid snow skier and a registered instructor with the NZSIA. He finds great satisfaction in teaching and seeing his students excel in their performances.

Austin Cunningham
We are excited to welcome Austin, a graduate of the Vandebilt class of 2023, as one of our instructors. Currently a music major at Nicholls State University, Austin brings a diverse background in band instruments and percussion. Our program is fortunate to have such a skilled and dedicated instructor on board.

Music Designer
BRYAN HARMSEN
Bryan is the owner of Visaudio Designs, a company specializing in design for the pageantry arts. He is currently the lead music composer and sound designer for Monarch Independent and The Mandarins Drum Corps, a role he held with The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2017 through 2019 seasons. Bryan was also a sound designer for Juxtaposition Winter Guard in 2022 in their return to IW Finals. He was the Chief Creative Officer of Virtual Arts, where he held the roles of lead music composer and program coordinator for various projects—most notably the Virtual Drum & Bugle Corps. Bryan has designed for ensembles throughout the United States, East Asia, and Europe. His arrangements and compositions have helped ensembles earn numerous medals in their local circuits as well as 15 WGI medals and many more WGI finalists in the winter season, and many BOA Regional finalists. Some of Bryan’s more notable current and past indoor drumline clients are Monarch Independent, Burleson Centennial HS, Clear Brook HS, Dorman HS, ED WHite HS, and Pioneer Indoor. He was a marching member of Spirit of Atlanta, Southwind, and The Cavaliers.
Bryan was also the voice and instructor behind Virtual Drumline Demystified, a tutorial series for the Virtual Drumline sound library from Tapspace Publications. While not working on music, he also dabbles in graphic design, photography, enjoys spending time outdoors, and has an affinity for all things on the leading edge of technology. He proudly endorses Pearl/Adams musical instruments, Innovative Percussion, Zildjian Cymbals, and Remo Drumheads, and currently resides in Carrollton, Georgia with his wife Emily and their pack of dogs and cats.

Mileina Battaglia
Owner and instructor at Just Jazzin since 1990. Writer and director of 20+ original stage productions presented by the studio. Former fitness competitor and personal trainer with a passion to see people live a life of health and wellness. Certified counselor with Light University under the division of AACC, hoping to encourage others to understand their worth and establish confidence in their purposes. Choreography prepared for local schools - ED White and THS indoor percussion, HCS junior and high school cheer squads, CCA dance team and varsity cheer squad, THS junior varsity cheer squad.Currently training children in tumble, cheer, and agility for sports performance.
