Cardinal Vanguard Band Night! 

Friday, October 17th at Harvey Peltier Stadium.

All 6th - 8th grade students are invited! Students who are not currently enrolled in band, but are interested in the possibility of joining, are also welcome to attend. 

​​

Students will experience the excitement of being part the 

"2024 Louisiana State Champion" Cardinal Vanguard on a Friday night of football season. 

​​

Students are invited to a rehearsal in the stadium on Thursday, October. 16    - 6:45pm - 7:45pm.

​

On game day - please meet in the band room at 4:30pm. Students will receive T-Shirts and rehearse with the Cardinal Vanguard.  After rehearsal, we will provide jambalaya, snacks, and water for all students. At 6:30 p.m. students will "march into the stadium" with the Vanguard.  During the game, they will sit with the band and perform a song on the field at halftime with the Cardinal Vanguard.

    

The students will wear blue jeans, an EDW T-Shirt that we will provide, and tennis shoes.

​​​After the game - students will march to the "back gym" for dismissal -

parents please follow us back and join us in the gym. 

​​​

We need to have an accurate headcount for instruction purposes, t-shirts, and to know how much jambalaya to prepare.  Please click the link below and fill out the google form. The form is due

The Cardinal Vanguard is thriving and we are excited to have students from different schools join us on Oct. 17.  They will experience the excitement of E.D. White student life and see excellence in action.  We are very hopeful that everyone will be able to participate.
