Bus ride, Hotel and Medications
IMPORTANT-
Please put all your child’s medication in a ziplock bag with their name and instructions written clearly on the bag. Make sure your child understands when to take their medication. If your child has certain conditions that require monitoring such as blood sugar and blood pressure, you must inform Mr. Keith and Ms. Tanisha Letrice before we leave for Dayton.

Please make sure they bring snacks and water. This is a 13 hour bus ride. They will most likely be trying to sleep during the first half of the trip. A small travel or neck pillow and small blanket will help them be more comfortable.

Make sure they have their phone chargers, headphones or ear buds and comfortable clothes to wear on the bus.
Please pack clothes for Dayton weather. The temperatures as of now look like high in the 60's and lows in the 40's.

I would also pack a jacket and an extra pair of shoes just incase.
As far as snacks…Encourage them to pack snacks on the lighter side. There is a bathroom on the bus, but it is very small and well, you get the picture. Lol

Money and Souvenirs
We typically send around $250 with them to cover food and souvenirs. (Please have a conversation with your child to budget wisely) It looks like most of the arenas are cashless this year with the exception of the Hobart which takes both. Please prepare accordingly.

The money is for Cracker Barrel, concessions, and maybe another restaurant if that fits into Mr. Keith’s plans and schedule. The big tent at Dayton arena has tons of shirts, drum pads, sticks, etc. It is like a percussionist Disneyworld. Prices in the tent vary depending on what your child is interested in. Patches usually run around $10, T-shirts $36-$40, Hoodies $65, Drum pads run $30 -$130.
